We keep this short and plain. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website or get in touch, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. We do not sell your data. Ever.

01 Who we are

NextGen Software Ltd (“NextGen”, “we”, “us”) is a product studio building software for founders and startups. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us any time at hi@nextgensoftware.co.

02 What we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or the project estimator, we collect your name, email, company, and the project details you choose to share.
• Usage data. Basic, aggregated analytics such as pages viewed and approximate region, used only to improve the site. We do not build advertising profiles.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) retained briefly for security and diagnostics.

03 Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and scope potential work — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps toward a contract at your request.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your enquiry to add you to a newsletter or a sales sequence unless you explicitly ask us to.

04 Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the studio — for example email, cloud hosting, and analytics — under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose data if required by law. We never sell or rent your personal data.

05 How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return, then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle.

06 Your rights

Under UK/EU data protection law you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email hi@nextgensoftware.co and we’ll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

07 Cookies

The site uses only the minimal cookies and local storage needed to function (for example, remembering your estimator selections). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

08 Changes

We may update this policy as the business evolves. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
