02 How to play
Daily: one country or flag a day, the same for everyone. You get 30 seconds to draw it from memory. Then the real shape lands on yours, you see how close you got, and how you did against everyone else that day.
Endless: as many rounds as you like, a mix of countries, flags and the odd US state.
03 Questions
How is my score worked out?
Your score, from 0 to 100%, is how closely your drawing matches the real shape once they’re laid on top of each other. Speed doesn’t change your score. Finish fast and you get a Quick-ish sticker.
How do flags work?
Paint the colours where they go. Any part you leave unpainted counts as white.
Do I need an account?
No. The app makes an anonymous player for you, with a name picked for you. Your progress lives on your phone, so deleting the app starts you afresh.
What are Hint, Peek & retry and Try again?
All three are optional and come after a short ad.
- Hint, while you draw a country or state in Endless, puts a few dots along the real border. The timer stops while the ad plays.
- Peek & retry, in Endless, shows you the answer for two seconds before you draw it again.
- Try again gives you a second attempt at the Daily.
Rounds played with a hint or after a peek don’t count towards rankings.
Why didn’t I get a ranking?
Rankings need enough players that day, so early on you’ll see a player count instead. If you’re offline, your result waits on your phone and is sent when you’re back online.
My streak reset. Why?
A streak counts Daily rounds played on days in a row. Missing a day starts it again from one. Deleting the app also starts you afresh, streak included.
How do I change ad tracking or consent?
Tracking: on your iPhone, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, your ad consent choices are in the app under Settings → Privacy options.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, tap the gear on the home screen, then Delete my data. It deletes your player, streak, results and Daily drawings, and you start again as a new player. Delete your data has the details.
